OK, this was the best video I have seen regarding my situation I was gonna all on 4 but was concerned about keeping them clean so that Oral Surgeon suggested overdenture My gag reflex is insane so now I’m definitely getting all on 4. Can you extract a difficult root canal tooth

Hello, Doctor, my wife recently had the final stages of the implant a few months ago, but still indicates that there is pain around that area. She went to her dentist, who removed the implant which caused her excruciating pain. Initially, the dentist used no local anesthetic but finally used a local to finish the removal..Because of the pain involved with the procedure of removing the implant, she wants no further treatment or replacement. How would you react to a patient requesting a full refund? Thanks......(Great Vid)

Haven’t watched full video but I just had three areas done and it was the most painful thing I’ve ever experienced. The part that hurts the worst is the site the tissue is harvested from on roof of mouth. Do not let anyone in the office tell you it feels like a pizza burn! And do not leave the office without Percocet because Norco does NOT cut it.

Another consideration for patients whose surgeons are using a stackable guided system, is to ask how many non-guided all on 4 cases they've done. The guided systems entice under experienced doctors to perform these case with a false sense of security. After shooting and editing hundreds of cases for one of the top teaching oral surgeons in the world, I'd say at least 40% of our guided full arch cases required deviating from the planned guided case sites and placing implants into alternate sites selected intraoperatively. So the value of the guided stackable system altogether looks secure and "sexy" but it is overrated and attracts clinicians who lack adequate experience and really is nearly obsolete imo, with 3D planning and printing capabilities available now. ALOHA Dr. Daniel Choi, I am very pleased that I have found your video series. Here's a little bit of history: I have recently started a complete restoration of my smile and all of my teeth. So far I have just gone through the removal of all decay and have implemented Much better oral hygiene practice to avoid any further damage to my teeth. So now that everything has been cleaned up and whatever could be saved is saved I have started with my orthodontics to position all the teeth Correctly. I originally was looking into veneers but after research and speaking with several dentists a better route would be to replace the crowns and do buildups that's how it was explained to me. So I'm looking at Replacing all the crowns of all my teeth and three dental implants. I live on the island of Maui and have chosen a local dentist and a local orthodontist. Although I trust them very much I am doing an independent study and research due to wanting everything done correctly the first time and I'm looking for the best possible outcome. I traveled all over the US on business and I may be in your vicinity and I wanted to know if at all possible if I could make a consultation appointment with you to receive a second opinion on what I'm going to get done. Most dentist and specialists now tries to convince you to a drastic measures to pull your teeth and get implant right away. They dont want to save your teeth. Nothing is better than your own natural teeth. Why not address the cause of bone and gum recession. Address nutrition, lifestyle, oral hygjene. There are many information out there that can help you regrow your gums ,prevent bone loss and even regrow bones Reminder once you pull your teeth out. It cannot go back. Real teeth is better than Fake teeth, if you can save your teeth hang on to it. Also, some of them wants to make money and tries to scare you. Only a few dentists and specialist are honest and sincere practitioners.

Ooh and BTW, Japan just discovered how to regrow teeth, even after teeth have been pulled out. These Japanese scientists have discovered a cell that triggers a certain gene & cell to regrow teeth. It was all over the news, as well as a few medical journals. THIS could not come fast enough. THIS is the type of things humans need to discover and invent.

The problem is, Dentists offices are not equip to handle trauma situations. There is NO trauma doctors when things go wrong, dentists doctors usually have to call 911 and many of them don't know how to handle trauma situations, the only thing they know is how to do, are things with teeth. Only VERY FEW locations have MD's who have done internships, residences and become a fellow then an Attending for more than 5 years in trauma course, then go on their own as a dentist. I have seen this myself, when I went to a dentist to get a cleanup and a man had complications with the medication the dentists gave him while operating on his teeth, the man expired in the chair. The only thing those dentists could do is call 911. No one out of the 30 people working in that office in Midtown Manhattan knew anything about trauma situations, so the man expired in their chair. That scared the living begeezes out of me, that I walked out and did not get my teeth cleaned. Ever since, I have been terrified and started to do some research all over the net, only to find out that dentists offices don't know how to handle trauma situations. And they do NOT have actual trauma doctors or equipment to handle trauma in their offices. I honestly believe that dentists should have their offices as close as possible to hospitals, as much as right next door or across the street, so if something goes wrong, the hospital is right there and REAL trauma doctors can handle the situation.

Had my wisdom tooth removed 5 days ago I’m still in pain the head on the side of extraction especially just infront of my ear hurts.. amost the same pain I had when I had toothache. It’s been 5 days now should I be worried? The pain intensifies in the evening when it’s bed time …. I’d appreciate your advice and thank you in advance

How can you tell if a patient has a pre-existing root canal infection? I’m wondering if this is why almost all of my root canals have failed.

I used to have a beautiful smile. People would often compliment me on my teeth. But an ex boyfriend changed all that when he knocked my front tooth out. Then Dentist decided to take out all of my back teeth, so I had no other choice, but to chew on my front teeth which started to chip. Now I look like a crackhead and I get treated like that as well. Once a bubbly, beautiful girl now I’ve become isolated and severely depressed. I no longer go out in public. I don’t go on date. I stopped going to my gym. It’s literally ruined my life.

I had the bottom plate break on me a couple weeks ago. They put new plates in and now they want me to come back next week but I don't want to talk to them anymore. The All On 4 ruined my life

I had the All On 4 done on January 10, 2024. I have been in constant pain and discomfort for almost 6 months now. I spent almost 70K to get it done and I have been regretting it since about the second day after the work when the pain started. My gums are red and sore and it feels like I have a knife stuck in my upper front and lower front. There is no way to get rid of the pain, no medicine will work. What else can I do? I don't care about the cost. I just wanted to get rid of the occasional tooth ache and crooked teeth but I would go back to that in a flash. I wanted to look good for my YT channel because it started doing good. Instead my life is destroyed.

It's absolutely absurd that the government gives subsidies to electric cars when we have a electrical grid that won't support it! They support the LGBTQXYZ for sex changes, they give to foreign countries to help transform While their corrupt government is stealing the money and the countries stay in poverty! And Americans can't get dental implants because it's considered cosmetic 🐂💩 A quality dental implant literally changes lives! Literally! I need them because I have a gag reflex so the removable dentures are an issue. So I've got a partial and tried to keep the broken, chipped and yellow teeth I do have so I can at least eat. However I don't go out to eat with family or friends because I have to take my partial out to eat . And that's embarrassing, and if you forget them they can get broken or thrown away because you forgot to grab them off the table to put it back in. People don't want to see that. And the cost of decent implants are the cost of a vehicle 😔😭

Wow I hope it gets better for her and I’m thinking of having the all on’s but I see some dentist offices be doing implants nope I’m going to a implant doctor oral surgeon not a basic dentist and I’m just done with all the money I have spent I’m 51 and feel what someone said about all the money we keep paying on crowns etc

Dr. Choi, you probably give the most objective information regarding implants. My wife got a very serious infection after a “sinus lift” and it was done by an awesome oral surgeon. She has 4 others doe by the same oral surgeon and they the are perfect. That’s the way it goes. Those are the risks and this awesome surgeon lays out the risks very carefully. Your videos are very sincerely and objectively done. As a physician myself, I appreciate and applaud the objectivity of your videos. The other videos done by other professionals, seem to be advertisements. We are now faced with doing an implant of a front upper incisors. Holy smokes. If I hear anything about a zygomatic implant, I’ll flip. Thank you so much for you scientifically and outcomed based videos. In my professional implant, you are very well read and experienced. Sir, I appreciate your candor about the risks. The other You Tube pages should be labeled “advertisements”. I’ve been asked by at least 6 ophthalmologists if I would get LASIK surgery. It’s unnerving when they are wearing eyeglasses.

You are absolutely right. I had tooth that needed root canal. That was never done the infection spread to the bone in my jaw. I wasn't in any pain at all.

I'm 35 and scheduled for this om Thursday. I'm generally healthy but had a hemorrhagic rare stroke in 2020, and they found 2 very small aneurysms. They didn't rupture then, and now they're under routine surveillance. Everything was a go until anesthesia called today. They wanted clearance from my neurologist to be safe. Luckily my neurologist was able to clear me today, but I will say that watching this video has spooked me. They're going to do moderate anesthesia and try to avoid intubation if possible, and I feel good about the procedure overall. Then I hear this and just wonder all the horror stories that occur.

Dr. Choi I am 6days post op 4 in 1. I have being using the Peridex as Rx'd, using my mouth guard, icing q 20m. But I felt like lifting my upper lip and my gums look like I had excess "plaque". Googling I see that Peridex can cause that? I don't have any discomfort, bleeding anymore, mucus/pus, just see the gums "whiteish" with more plaque. I was able to see a few stiches. No sensitivity on the gums just common discomfort and numbness on my lower jaw everything is fine. Please let me know if it's OK, or if I am getting an infection. Also I am drinking my Rx antibiotics q8hrs. Thanks Lizzy
